A dance team of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Astana, “Asyl mura”, performs not only on the school stage. It also takes part in festivals and competitions of various levels. Recently, members of the dance team performed with great success at the international festival. They showed their skills in folk and contemporary dances.

The dance team “Asyl mura” won the first place in the international multi-genre festival-competition of culture and arts, which was held from March 18 to 22 in Almaty. For the beautiful performance, the team won the cup of the festival and was awarded with a special diploma for the colorful dance composition “Uly Dala” and “Book of Secrets”. Talented students of the Intellectual School were also invited to take part in the Summer Festival in Europe. The Festival & Contest Cultural Association, represented by President Christian Kartocheti, presented a certificate to the participants of “Asyl Mura” for taking part in the festival of arts in Italy.

“Victory at the festival-contest gave the participants of the dance group confidence in themselves, and we realized that we can do a lot, we can compete with the strongest teams,” said the team instructor, Zhusupova Bekzat.
