Sanjar Bisenali, a 12th grade student from the Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Astana, received a grant to one of the most prestigious universities in the world – the California Institute of Technology.
The California Institute of Technology (Caltech), one of the top 10 best universities in the world and is known for its collaboration with NASA.
For admission to CALTECH, in addition to the usual package of documents and a strong case, special perseverance and ambition are required, since only 7% of applicants enter there. Sanzhar is a winner of republican and international olympiads. In his personal medal piggy bank – silver and bronze of the prestigious International Mendeleev Olympiad, silver of the International Chemistry Olympiad 2022.
– I want to connect my future profession with chemistry, I will study chemistry and chemical technologies at CALTECH. The role of the school in entering a foreign university was key. NIS not only awakened my interest in the natural sciences, but also gave me the opportunity to study them at an in-depth level. Studying at the university, I will not forget about the school Olympiad circle, I plan to continue teaching chemistry to the younger ones, however, now online, – Sanzhar shared his plans.
